K-8 Reading
I began my college career with a major in Business. After a year I decided that business was not the route for me and I switched to education. I graduated from WSU in 2004 and began teaching 6th grade reading and 7th grade literature at Clearwater Middle School. While working for Clearwater, I acted as the Battle of the Books Sponsor. I obtained my Masters in C&I in May of 2007, whoo-hoo! I am currently steps away from obtaining my Reading Specialist Endorsement. Currently, I work for USD 267, Colwich Grade School, as the reading specialist. In my spare time, I teach yoga for the northwest YMCA. My hobbies are decorating, walking my dog, and spending time with my husband, most days anyway...
