RAINBOWing: "See" Writing/ Reading with COLOR!!!

Using a standard box of 8 standard colored markers, analyzing elements of both writing and reading can be more effective when utilizing BOTH hemispheres of the brain. COLOR can do just that, plus it allows students and teachers to have FUN, too! This process/ tool has been developed over the last 10+ years with new and improved activities continuing to be developed. Developed by Judy Henry, her workshops throughout several states, including Kansas, are open to educators of all levels, early, beginning writers to advanced writers. A newly developed WORD Document now enables writers to RAINBOW on computers as well! Ultimately, RBing ties into the 6 Trait Writing model as well as the writing process as well as many reading skills and empowers students to become the writers/ readers they deserve to be!
